Field Sales Visit Tracking System — 2025-2026 (ongoing)
End-to-End Developer (system design, database, deployment) — self-initiated freelance project
Field sales teams at an FMCG distribution business were essentially invisible once they left the office. Visit data and sales numbers only reached the owner after being manually compiled, often too late to act on a slowing region or an underperforming route. I designed a Progressive Web App where sales staff check in at each store using GPS, with a watermarked photo to verify they were actually there, and log products sold in that same visit.
That data flows immediately into a dashboard scoring performance by sales person, store, and region, with role-based access across 5 permission levels from field sales up to the owner. The system started with a database of just 5 tables; as the business actually used it, requirements kept growing until the original structure couldn't hold the scope anymore, so I redesigned the database into 14 tables and migrated over 21,000 records live without losing a single one.
Impact — 3,064,300 units sold recorded across 23,527 field visits over seven months, with a 45.3% store conversion rate, now running across 2+ regions.
